Richard O’Shea and Michael Kane present everything that is great about the Dalby Music scene. These two are out and about busily interviewing the best musicians Dalby has to offer, across all genres of music.

Richard is a born and bred local whose family has a deep connection to the town and its rich musical heritage. Richard runs the O’Shea’s Music Centre and has organised many community music events for local musicians over the years. He is also an extremely talented guitarist but prefers to remain in the background and let other artists shine. Richard knows the life stories and struggles of most of Dalby’s local musicians and he loves sharing these stories during the show. Richard’s interviews are laid back and many of those interviewed by Richard enjoy his easy going style.

Michael is a ring in to Dalby, only having lived here for the last 20ish years. His background is in live music, as both a performer and sound engineer, and as a recording studio owner where he has had the privilege of recording a number of local musicians including Stu Larsen, Hello Hokkaido, Pam Fay, Ridgee Didge Bush Band, and the list goes on. The styles he has recorded range from Country to Rock, Hip Hop to classical to ambient music. Michael feels privileged to work with so many incredibly talented artists and brings a unique perspective to his interviews.

Dalby has a real depth of talented musicians and this show highlights that depth. So sit back, listen to some great local music and hear the stories of our local musicians.
